wildfowler.250
I have two pintail in the freezer that I shot last Dec/Jan time,(at a guess). When I got them home I put them in tights,(don't know why but was told to do this) and also wrapped them up in a couple of plastic bags to prevent them drying out. I'm saving up at the moment before I send them off. The main query is *how long they will keep in the freezer*? Is it a case of once the are frozen fresh they will be fine for years? Or is there a finite time period? Who is worth sending them to for sensible money? Obviously not wanting a botched job as it'll be with me forever but not wanting to waste silly money either. Cheers in advance!
ayrshiretaxidermy
Hi, they will be good in the freezer for years. Make sure that they arent touching the sides of the freezer and have as much air out of the packaging as possible. What area you from? Tod
as said above, as long as you packaged them properly you can forget about them.
