If the time in the tide table states 10:00 you add an hour and the tide will be full in at 11:00 at the point to which the tide table refers i.e. I use Lavers Liverpool Tide Table and the tide times given refer to the high water times at Gladstone Dock in Liverpool. You then need to add or subtract a number of hours and minutes to adjust the tide time to the area of the coast where you are e.g. I shoot about 8 miles from the mouth of the Dee, the tide flows east from the Dee towards Liverpool so the high tide is 10 minutes earlier at the Dee mouth than at Gladstone Dock, but as the tide takes about 10 minutes to get from the estuary mouth to where I shoot, its the same time as shown in the tide table.

Remember that you have to add the hour for sunrise and sunset as well as tide times until 28thm October this year.
