Several weeks ago I bought the latest version of the Hatsan escort, since cleaning it and using a suitable cartridge my scores have improved rapidly. I hardly shoot skeet any on a good day get 14 or 15 after a couple of rounds, today in the rain and bad weather shot 19 on the first attempt, would of been higher but made silly errors. Was impressed with the way it performed not even the hint of a jam and even been lazy with the cleaning just giving it a wipe down and a pull though with with a bore snake. Then I tried a demo Zoli was a shame to see such a expensive gun get a bit damp and got a score of 15, now thinking is it time to review how well my existing guns fit. Even shooting sporting clays I am hitting clays that I was missing before including the elusive rabbits. oscarsdad Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 I just bought my mrs her first gun - a single barrel baikal for £30 as then I can shorten the stock and get her shooting with a gun that fits for very little money (and I have to say is built like a tank!)
