lewis2012
Hi all my local store has LED Lenser torches, with mounts + Pressure switch for £70. i know he also does a cheaper version but you get what you pay for. Does anyone have any experience with these for lamping rabbits at around 100 - 120yds? JBS
Save £20 on the lightforce here, I've just bought the 170 from them Monday and it arrived yesterday http://www.opticswarehouse.com/acatalog/Lightforce_Lights_and_Accessories.html

cjm
The LED lenser is good but at 120 yards your pushin the boat a bit tbh.
Dave-G
LED and its focusing technology is leaping forwards in huge bounds, I won't be surprised to hear about LED headlights within a year or so. For those who would rather pay someone else to do a bit of fiddling for them "Nightmaster" have released a fairly pricy one, especially for peeps who feel unable to unscrew a few bits and screw in or plug in a few other bits. Now that aspheric lenses are more fully understood and used the type of torch that uses the old incandescent bulbs are obsolete and use much more battery power to effectively burn a little metal filament in a gas filled bulb till it glows white hot. I'd expect a few RFD's will be glad to unload the last few LF's on those who are ignorant about the newly emerged LED abilities. It's your money Lewis, and your the man that gotta lug the huge battery around with it - or get someone else to carry and point it for you. http://www.taclight.co.uk/dereelight/night-master-kit.html Edited October 4, 2012 by Dave-G
