markyboy
On our pheasant shoot a lot of our feeders have a series of 12 mm holes at bottom of feeder while others have springs ? Which method is best to use plan on putting a few feeders out this week end as a farm of mine has a few rough areas and seem to be attracting pheasants off the big estate next to it! Ive got buckets and makeshift feeders and also a couple of proper feeders ! Don't know weather to drill them all with small holes or use springs?? kobidog
birds will feed more efficiently out of springs...holes they have to work harder to eat as much food, which may mean they stick around for longer but they prefer springs...
