steve_b_wales
Get yourself the Primos Power Crow caller. It does everything the Sam Neyt one does, and more. I bought a Sam Neyt one, after all the raves about it, and sold it the very next day. The Primos can be used to call in Crows, Jackdaws and Rooks. I have used them for years, and in my opinion, are brilliant. Like most things, you have to learn to use them correctly, but once mastered, they are deadly for calling in the Corvids. PW members, who have been with me when I use the Primos, can vouch how good they are. Steve.

Tod
i bought a primos power call and a daryl gibson call and whenever i go out for crows i pick the primos power call, really cant go wrong for a tenner, your just paying for the nice wood and the fact that they are hand built with the others. goldeneye243
Any tips for using the primos? I have got one and had a play when decoying pigeons and the odd crow has come along, but it has not worked for me yet...

I have got one and had a play when decoying pigeons and the odd crow has come along, but it has not worked for me yet... It's hard trying to explain to someone how to use the Primos. But basically, the more you put bite pressure on the tube, the higher the pitch of the sound. When calling Crow's, you have to make a 'grrrr' sound when blowing into the caller, and don't bite on the tube. To call Jackdaw's, you need to bite on the tube to get the higher pitched sound that Jackdaw's make. All I can suggest is practice, and DON'T give up on the caller. It really is an excellent make, and once mastered, will help you get many corvid's.
