DAVE_B
Hi All, Can anyone recommend a reasonable quality take down slip or case. I know if you shoot you are supposed to own a 4x4 or a pick-up but sadly I have to make do with my Honda civic. I find that I can't safely lay the gun level in the boot and the back seat is cozy and too exposed. So I thought the best option would be to use a take down carrier for transit and a regular slip when in use. I have just looked at the Napier Smart Slip which, while OK, is a bit bulky and I don't ever see myself using it as a regular slip. Thoughts and advice as every appreciated. Mikaveli
Doesn't the B725 come with a case? There's a few different universal cases on Midway UK - you can pick one long enough to hold your barrel, but short enough to fit in the boot. BerettaSV10
Not sure which napier slip you have looked at, they do one that is a take down slip that also converts into a full length gun slip. Ideal if you shootiing / beating and need to carry the gun in a confined space or need to carry the gun (packed away) when beating. Also good for carrying the guns between stands in its full length, then break the gun down for transport to and from the clay ground. DAVE_B
The B725 does come with a hard case but with my stock extension it is too tight a fit.

I don't understand why they don't leave just a little extra space in the case. Fitting an extension must be quite common?
BerettaSV10
If you want a abs style case, try one of the generic cases or an aluminium ones, they come up on the bay quite often or try your local gun shop, they may have one in stock that you can try.
