webber
Saw this advertised, and noticed that there was a clay shoot. McF and myself are going on the Sunday. If other PW members wanted to meet up there for a shoot etc we would be pleased to meet you. Can I suggest 10.30 at the clay shoot. No competition, just a natter and blast. CAVEAT I have never been to this show before, and therefore can not vouch for its credibility or otherwise. If you have been previously please post on here. webber
The show is now advertised in this weeks Shooting Times. I note that the shoot is FIBRE WADS ONLY, therefore I shall take some extra cartridges, just in case. webber

webber
Don It was good to meet you again. Its a pity that more PW members didnt join us, I felt that the show and shooting were good, and I found the trousers that I wanted, which I couldnt find at the Midland. I did find the shoes, but at £145, they like your pint, are still in the shop
Dead-Eyed Duck
It's entirely obvious that after buying your poncy pimpmonbile with tinted windows that you don't have any money left to buy your mates a pint. Best excuse ever that I heard from you after your dismal showing on the clays - "My dominant eye keeps changing from right to left". Said with such conviction and sincerity too McF has my entire sympathy for having you as a shooting buddy. Give me a call when you can have a bash using my muzzle loaders - the absolute lack of choke may improve your shooting :o :o A good day for a small game fair - it would be a really good day out for the wife and family. webber
Don Honestly, my dominant eye has returned to being the left. I need a uni-dot sight to correct the problem. I did send for one, but it doesnt fit, despite what it says on the tin. Please dont side with McF, he gets all the support that he needs from my dad, who must have stepped into every cow pat on the estate. Im sure that with age (79) his arms have got shorter and his pockets deeper. He bought a pair of gloves for a tenner amidst much debate as to the cost. I woulnt care, but the gloves were a bargain, and he was already in front as I paid his admission and his hot pork roll. I woulnt care, but he's on a cracking pension, and literally cant spend the money. He's blind and buying a car to go fishing. I had to confiscate his wallet at the Midland when we were in danger of buying fishing rods by the brace. I was well pleased with the show and doubt that I will bother with the Midland again. I know that there is no gunmakers row, but I wouldnt buy a gun at a show anyway. McF has long criticised me for the number of caps that I have. Now then, at the Midland he went to great trouble to select and purchase a Musto cap. Today during lunch , he declared that the cap was ****, it was this and that. He then returned with another cap, and dismissed his previous model. presumably permenantly, as he transferred his beloved badges. Now with regard to the clay score. I have a genuine medical and physical condition to contend with, not to mention a spendthrift, BLIND geriatric piscatoral stuntman. Sureley. McF, isnt going to blame his cap! webber
