Hi guys! Recently sent away for my fac/sg coterminous its been 4 month and still havent heard anyfn since my home visit! But the worrying thing is ive came home tonight to a letter from scott+co stating tht a summary warrent has been granted against me for a £500 council tax arrear i always pay my council tax an dont no why this has happend and it was to late by the time i got in i tryed to call them but there office was shut! Does this or will this affect my fac application or is this only a civil matter tht i should b able to get sorted out?

Any replys would b appreciated bcoz its got me a bit worried?

Yep, it should not matter regarding your application. You don't say where you are, but for some forces it can take 5/6/7 months for an application, you don't normally hear anything until the certificates land on your mat.

You can always ring them though and find out what's happening, they can confirm that everything is going OK and tell you how long to expect it to take.

I would contact them, and give them a gentle reminder about the time it's taking. You could always say that you need your certificates to buy ammunition,or go on a shoot etc. It's surprising that when some people phone the police to ask why their application is taking so long, they usually say, 'it's on my desk right now', or sometimes you'll get it within a few days of phoning.
