cockatoo Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 Hi can some give some advice im looking at spending upto £300 as money is abit tight on a scope for wen iget a rimfire as soon as my fac comes through unless i buy a rimfire with scope. al4x Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 which rimfire are you getting? a .22lr a fixed mag is fine but on a HMR I would go variable with more magnification. deputy dog Posted November 5, 2012 Report Share Posted November 5, 2012 Have a look at the Red Field range, i have the 3x9-50 on my .243 and a couple of hundred or so costing scope their cracking, even while out lamping their very good an very clear glass wise.
