Dominicrobed
Hi Im thinking about buying a beretta outlander synthetic next month for pigeon shooting and was just wondering if anyone has the gun , is it ok for the money ? Cheers
Sandbank
Hi Dominicrobed, I have the wooden version, nearly a year old now. Absolutely no problems so far, after many thousands of various weight loads. See no reason why the synthetic version should be any different. A good buy if you can pick one up around £790 (new). VicW
I have a 9 month old wooden version that has had about 6000 shells through it without any trouble whatsoever. Nice to shoot and easy to clean. I paid £760 for mine new. Highly recommended. Vic.

Dominicrobed
Thanks for the replys you have helped me make up my mind. I will be buying one next month. Chokes are no prob as my 686e uses mobil chokes and I have a full set. Cheers What carts did you guys put through it to brake it in ? Would 30g loads be ok ? VicW
What carts did you guys put through it to brake it in ? Would 30g loads be ok ? I ignored the warning on the case reference using heavy loads to 'break the gun in' and used 28gm clay loads from the outset. No problems were experienced with cycling and never have been from new.
