pin
The best thing to do is to try and prove to landowners you are responsible enough to be trusted out there alone. Not easy by any means but getting that first one for yourselves will feel all the better, and lead to a load more I am sure. Have a good look through this section there are loads of tips for door knocking, if you find something not covered ask away! Good luck! dazzyboi
Alot of people will be put off by the fact that 2 x 18 year olds want to scope around on there land with guns.. Be professional about it, im only young (well young to a farmer) im 22, the only time i ever go and ask a farmer is on the way home from work when im dressed in my work gear (shirt, tie, shoes, trousers) dont go dressed in traccie bottoms, trainers etc as they will be more reluctant to say no. If you already shoot on someones land, mention their names, if its in the same area you will be surprised how many farmers go (ahhh yesss i know farmer giles)... If you dont have BASC insurance cover, get some, and mention this to the farmer.
Dunkield
Suggest that you remove your email address, and that people contact you by PM. webber It's good advice, but you would have to do the same webber, as you have quoted it, twice
