One for the mathematicians

Could someone please work this out to settle a discussion.

Boar travelling at say 20 mph at 80 yards in a straight left to right in front of someone holding a .30-06 rifle.

Questions:

1. How much lead does the boar need?

2. How far has the boar travelled in 0.5 seconds (assuming that as the time taken for the brain to tell the finger to squeeze)

Thanks all

20 mph is roughly 30 feet per second. Half a second would be 15'

Answer 2 is about 2'. If you are swinging with the boar under the crosshairs and don't stop, the crosshairs are on the vitals when you've pulled the trigger. In that case, the bullet is traveling 1000 yards per second (3000 fps for easy math) which is 0.080 seconds between the bullet leaves the barrel and when it hits the boar. In that time the boar has moved about 2.5'.
