Hopper Bopper
From what I understand it is £25.00 for 100 sporting birds. I have never been but talking to people on our shoot it is a very good set up with some really challenging stands. I am going for practice and fun so hopefully the weather will stay dry at least. i will be in the car park for about 9.30 in my little orange van if any one wants to introduce themselves and join in. i will try and remember an update after the days activities. Hopper Bopper
Had a great day out at Borders Wood today. The weather was dry and bright with the sun giving extra challenge on a couple of stands. I used my sbs that I inherited from my dad. I have rarely fired the gun and it doesn't fit so a score of 30 was well appreciated. there are 12 stands of different levels of difficulty to the experienced gun (every thing was hard for me) with some birds well high or just bluddy fast. I would say that it is a lovely set up, well worth a visit for any one who wants to enjoy a pleasant days clay shooting in the south Notts area. I will get my gun fitted/altered and go back for more practise in the new year. thanks to Lanny and Tom for their guidance and tolerance.
