I had a black rabbit on one of my permissions this year. It's burrow was in a south facing, field dividing hedge and would feed out in the middle of the small field. I am not allowed to shoot with the HMR, or 22LR on this land, so it was down to my FAC Career 707 to do the business. It was long and lean, getting down flat with the ground whenever it saw me, usually when well out of range, crawling to the edge before springing up and into it's burrow. It was like it had radar. I knew it would be there and once crawled 50 yards upwind towards it's ear tips twitching in the grass, only for it to do a disappearing trick. I even checked for an escape tunnel! I shot plenty of it's fat friends, but it will be my main target once some dryer weather come our way. http://www.urbanfieldsportsman.com/
