steve0146
Hi, As the end of the season is fast approaching, I have a number of hevi shot cartridges for sale. All 2 /34 inch, 34g of number 4. All brand new and sealed in the box. Checking the internet, these are selling for anywhere from £18 a box to £25. (10 in a box) If anyone is interested, I am after £14 a box. Im in Plymouth.

steve0146
Agreed, they are expensive, but normally £2.50 a shot! You get what you pay for and they dont get any better in a 2 3/4 cartridge than this. Heavier and more dense than lead. If you watch any American youtube clips of high duck/goose shooting, they are normally using hevi shot. Often in 3 or 3.5 inch on the high geese to be fair, but 45 - 50 yd duck no problem. Steel does not have the power at that range, bismuth is just as expensive and fragments, closest is tungesten, but still not a patch on hevi!
