tiny tim
i,ve got one an love it..they are a bit front heavy but it helps your swing.. i wouldnt think they were lighter than a semi auto one of the things i love is you dont need ear defenders so when roost shooting you can hear the birds coming in etc i,d have a feel of one first before you part with your money hope this helps

lewis11
I have a mossberg maverick 88 20b hushpower pump action, I find that i shoot better with it than my o/u. I would say make sure you have a good hold of it or try it out if the seller allows.

jackinbox99
They do (or used to do) a 20b o/u hushpower & a 20b mossberg pump action. The pump action is quite a long gun - so id have a good feel with one first to see what you think. The o/u seems a lot rarer and seldom come up for sale. When they do they arnt cheap. Ive the mossberg .410 pump action and its a cracking bit of kit. Sometimes i wish id have gone for the 12bore one tho as for the same cash new you used to get both a hushpower barrel & normal barrel which would have given me a bit more flexibility, along with cheaper cartridges. But, for what it is, im pretty pleased with the .410 version.
artschool
i am in the middle of selling a mossberg hushpower 12g. they are good guns and whilst not as quiet as the 410 they are great for shooting at dusk or in areas where you want to reduce noise. the other good thing about the mossberg12g and the 20b is that you can get a standard barrel for them as well. You can get a standard barrel for the .410 version too as I got my local gunshop to look into it. But, it wasnt cheap. Certainly with the 12b version hushpower used to give you the standard barrel for free as part of the deal. But now I think they only give you the moderated barrel.
