HW90 Sorted...

I recently posted a topic concerning my HW90, I have received the rifle from the original store after a brief working over by a gunsmith. I shot the weighty beast earlier today and discovered the trigger has a new lease of life and barrel has had a thorough cleanse. I understand the chap who worked on it discovered packing grease had not been fully removed hence accuracy could have been compromised. One piece of knowledge learnt was as follows, the HW90 barrel has the last few inches set up in a choke configuration, essentially tightening up the bore. ((Firstly is the true?))...

That said I shoot my revitalised HW90 with Accupell, pointed/ though the heads are relatively roundhead .22, shot at 25 metres with groups averaging 10/18mm. Tried again with RWS Superdomes, the result was rather random 1inch and wider groups. I did notice the Accupell had a tighter pellet head, the RWS in comparison was looser. Now I can get back to shooting this thing as originally intended.
