Ryan gun Posted December 16, 2012 Report Share Posted December 16, 2012 what is a good 20 bore recipe for game cartridges at 1 ounce of 6 shot plastic wad.have got some plastic wads with the loader but not sure on make.also have got some ready primed cheddite 70mm cases that come with the loader as well.also a few other recipes will be helpful as i am just starting out. atb ryan ps:will ask fruit loop what amke the wads are. sitsinhedges Posted December 16, 2012 Report Share Posted December 16, 2012 My standard 20gauge load is a 70mm PT case, Fiocchi 614 primer (mild), 20grains of Vectan A0 with a B&P Z19 plastic wad under 28grams of shot with a 6pt crimp. I've had some cracking kills with them at good ranges. IMR X800: Fiocchi 615/ Cheddite CX100 1,35 gr x 27.5 gr #6, wad is B&P 19 (PMax=745 - 749 Bar, V0=404-415) IMR X800: Fiocchi 615/Cheddite CX1000 1,32 x 29 # wad SG21 or B&P 19 (PMax= 755 - 760 Bar, V0= 404-407) if you need any above (30-34 gr), just let me know! cheers, franco Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
