not sure if this helps mate. this is how i made the extendable arms on my home made magnet. basically a nut welded over a drilled hole, then a bolt to suit the nut with a bar welded to the bolt head for tightening. {if that makes sense}. not pretty but it works.

cheers for the reply mate, Think I will tap and die it and will save me using a nut at all, I threaded an old tent peg so they may be my thumb screw :)

Hi the bracket in your picture is the one that's fitted to the air pro decoys I made some plastic decoys to fit on my rotary.just take the wing spreaders off drill four holes in the top of the decoy and thread a cable tie through each hole leaving a loop inside the body for the floater arm to thread through to hold it in place
