Psyxologos
I had exactly the same experience in the shifting sands of Morecambe six years ago. I was on my bike and on a designated safe area. I was saved by the bike, when it was lying flat. I pulled myself up, sinking the bike in effect. I will never ever EVER forget the way I felt, sinking up to my chest. What they say about your life flashing in front of your eyes is true. You have to live it to understand it. Sorry for hijacking the thread, your post brought back traumatic memories. I am glad you are OK mate. Well done on seeing the good points on your experience.
