BRAD1927
Hi Guys and Gals Happy new year to you all. Does anyone know how to speed up a rotary magnet as when I remove the hypaflaps and place dead birds on it slows down to much? I currently use a 12v 17aph battery and it is fully charged but just need to get that little bit extra speed. All help gratefully received. JimLondon
If the hypa flaps are pulling them in why change it. Jim
BRAD1927
They are not as effective as dead birds so only use the hypaflaps if I have no frozen or fresh birds to use. When I use the hypaflaps I probably only get 30% of flying birds to deviate from the flight line where as with dead birds that goes up significantly. Cosd
Depending on the type of motor that's on there, you can usually move the spade connector on one of the wires on the magnet to change the speed. Mine has two speeds on there. Cos
