adamskiseal
Hi all, been having a look around tonight for a easy up hide and came across a pop up one at a reasonable price, just wondered what your thoughts were on them and if anyone has one, Cheers Adam

bakerboy
Whereabouts are you? What was a reasonable price? I have a 1 metre square pop up hide, only used half a dozen times. Perfect condition. I prefer to build my own, with room for more than one person in the hide for the company. I live in Stevenage
adamskiseal
I'm over in Worcestershire, I thought something that pops up would be a little easier and then use some of the surrounding materials to help it blend in,
Frenchieboy
I bought one of these ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STEALTH-DOME-POP-UP-HIDE-PIGEON-SHOOTING-PHOTOGRAPHY-FISHING-/261152422989?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item3ccde5bc4d The hide is quite well made with enough room for 2 people seated with their flasks and guns etc. It really does take no time at all to put up or pack away (Once you have got the hang of it) and it keeps you warm and dry if the weather turns against you. It has proved very useful on a couple of occasions on cold dark mornings where I have had to "stake out" a field of poultry with my rifle while waiting for thieveing foxes to turn up and try to steal their breakfast. It is quite light and easy to carry and fairly well made. There are however two things that I would say against it: First, the ground pegs that come with it are a bit flimsy so need replacing with reasonable quality tent pegs - Available from any camping ot outdoor shop for just a couple of quid. Secondly, it can be a little awkward to shoot from for any high birds that come over from. Taking all things into consideration I would give it a rating of around 7 out of 10!
