Byrnsie44
Hi there very new to the forum so ill introduce myself, my names joe and I'm a soldier based in the woodbridge area. I have a permission but it does not support what I like about shooting, i shoot rabbits mainly and I am waiting on my FAC (.17hmr). I have been told that suffolk constabulary are usually quick with applications. Where I shoot currently, the rabbits are not pests , more just inhabitants , I would much rather shoot on land where I am doing a farmer a favour if you know what I mean. It seems most farmers have syndicates employed to shoot for them already. Does anyone have any advice for me on how to gain a permission or two in my area? Any guidance appreciated

tlennox
Have you tried the MOD estates department, they do give permission to shoot vermin around RAF Leeming and Catterick Garison in North Yorkshire, for military personnel, there has got to be something in place in your area. Also plenty of MOD rough shooting clubs with vermin rights. Got to be worth a try.
