I'm waiting for my renewal/variation to come back, if this is still availible when it comes back ill be very interested.

how much would you want just for the gun or gun and mod, also what sort of groups are you getting with the factory ammo?

To be honest, best groups have been in the 1 1/2" region with factory ammo. Not stopped me killing 28 foxes with it since last feb though!

If this doesn't get sold as a whole, the other gear will be sold in the other sales section. probably not for £100!

If it helps anyone, I may be able to meet somewhere as I am in Northumberland next week. Can also be shot on my permissions before purchase.

I've had a lot of interest in this so thought I would add a few things that I've been asked via PM.

I don't know the age of the gun, it was secondhand when I bought it.

I would like the rifle and scope to go together, but if you do not have a slot for a moderator I can split this.

If you would make things easier for people, And would make you feel more secure. The transaction can be carried out through my local RFD, including payment by credit card if necessary. This may incur a small fee which I would expect you to cover.

If you are awaiting a variation, why not get your RFD to hold it for you??

That's a very honest answer. To be equally honest I have the exact same model and it wont shoot 35's worth a jot it will totally bug hole with 40 grn and 45, 46 grn offerings though. By that I mean 1" steady away "handloads" at 200yds with many groups doing less 1 1/2" the norm at 200 with RWS factory. 35's are so poor I don't think its worth really even aiming at 200!

I have tried several times to better it, but that's as good as it got.

If I had more time I would have loved go play around and develop a better load for it, but life is busy and I want to put my efforts into getting my .243 shooting well on home loads.
