coneyhunter
Hi underdog, it was a culmination of things mate, when i stripped the gun it was filthy, so stripped cleaned and lubricated it, i also changed the piston and the o-ring, was cycling perfectly but yesterday it double fed, been told its either a worn shell stop or a problematic recoil spring, ill take the recoil spring out and clean and lube it, just wanted a newer one to replace it, hopefully its not the shell stop

ChrisAsh
www.gunspares.co.uk have a large selection you can buy online, great service used them a few times just look under the remington spares section Thats what I lke about the 1100 after 40 years spares are normally available Sorry just checked and see they are out of stock The best solution is to stretch the exsisting sprint about one inch longer than it is at present whilst you wait for a new one, that should keep you going it did for mine a 410 model Edited February 18, 2013 by ChrisAsh
