walt1980
I've got a 9-13 bipod fitted but sometimes take it off n shoot off sticks. Iv found the sticks aren't as steady n I'm not as accurate as I should be at 100+ yards, want to get a 13-23 or even a 16-29 bipod and use it while kneeling. Would it be high enough to use for that? Also when it's folded up will the feet poke out past the end of the barrel? It's goin on an Anschutz 1517 hmr with an LEI mod. At the minute the current bipods feet come up just short of the end of the barrel when it's fully extended, think the 16-29 might poke out past but would this be ok??? Any suggestions etc as always greatly appreciated!!! I'm new but learning!!

V8 90
I have just posted in a thread about Bipods & what I use - may be an idea for you I also use a Vanguard T62U Tripod for all my walking shooting - .204r Foxing & Hmr/N750 - the way I see it is - we spend £1000's on a set up, best rifle we can afford, best scope we can afford, best ammo & then use anything to rest on !! The Vanguards were around £100 & one of the best £100's I've ever spent !!
