T-Bolt94
Good afternoon, I have a friend who has an Anschutz 520 and he's trying to find some cleaning advice on it as the instruction manual is rather vague and also refers to some kind of assembly aid to stabilize the spring when rebuilding it. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
Andy H
I find using a long pair of metal tweezers to hold the spring straight helps with assembly but at times you wish you had a third hand to help.
T-Bolt94
I can imagine, something neither of us have ever taken a part and it hasn't been given a clean in let's just say a long time so it is probably over due. Thanks
iain
My advice is DON'T TAKE IT APART!!!!!!! I had one. if you don't have the assembler tool you need to make one or have 4 pairs of hands. I made a tool for mine from a piece of thin steel bent into a curve at the end to hold spring against the action wall. Just got it sorted then put a ring in the barrel.
