A very mixed day today with Marc (PW Member) shooting well he was out with us yesterday shooting 19 and came back

Out today to continue where he left off...Fenny shooting 24 yesterday

I was out today on our Roost, and saw large amounts of Pigeon some flocks of 40 or 50 coming in

Then turning away not fully commiting to the site at about 100 yards.

Odd birds were more likly to come right in.

It was very cold with a strong wind blowing all day, and we all feel this did have some effect on them today

Paul (PW Member below) & I shot together in a small wood ideal for the two of us.

Paul had not shot for a few months and soon found out he was giving the birds too much lead, and was fine after that.

He hit some very nice shots dispite the cold, great company Paul will shoot with you any time

I only managed Seven, poor for me but also got four crows prior to Roost, Fenny was on Top form hitting his first

eight birds with nine shots and going on to get 20 total despite driving all over the place today.

All shooters said birds would not commit to roost sites, if they had we would have had far more than the 52 Pigeon and 6 crows

Thanks to everyone for taking part in another great day for me

Marc in Best Hide I have seen in a long time

Northern Monkey life is not all about fishing, but could have done with your Chuck Waggon today...Very cold on the Fens.

Saw one of our Buzzards today flying along side the wood head down....about 30 yards away (paul saw it) made my day.

I was at work this morning myself, not the best start to anyones day....."thats why I only got seven Pigeon tonight?", Fenny pulled me away from the Crows hit 4 for 4. I could have shot at least eight of them, I was on a roll.

I have just thought of the reason I was so cold....I was wearing that **** Jack Pyke Jacket. The wind blows right through it....Rubbish if you ask me, I should have had my Army Gear on.
