fishingtex
Hi, Does anyone out there own a 2011 ford ranger double cab? I had a puncture yesterday and went to change the wheel. Everything was going ok till i tried to find the wheel brace for removing the wheel nuts. Everything else is located behind the back seat ( Jack, jack arms ) but no wheel brace. It is also a hinderance due to the fact the brace forms part of the Jacking system and spare tyre removal system. So guys and gals do any of you know where Ford have decided to hide it. Before I get any wise cracks I have read the owner manual and it doesn't say where it is. But on a lighter note it was easy watching the Green Flag man change the wheel for me. wymberley
Assuming nothing has changed in a couple of years, it should be in the same place as the rest of the kit, low down in the middle in a black 'sleeve. There's a thread dated 16 Feb on this sub forum that's worth a look.
fishingtex
Thanks I've posted to the previous thread to see what I get back. There is nothing else behind the seat. I think that Ford have not put it in! I've had the truck from new so i'll contact Ford tomorrow.
wymberley
Another possibility; has the car been serviced, MoT'd or whatever that needed the wheels removed - the garage may have "nicked" it.
fishingtex
Been for service, but only to the Ford garage where I bought it from.
