john12
Well with work picking up at the min I haven't managed to get out and do any decoying yet this year. With the bad weather forcast for today I thought I would and get out early for a few hours. Had seen a few crows on I drilling so it was straight there. There was some old bales at the edge of the field so used them as a hide got decoys out and got myself ready. Found that the birds weren't keen to come into the decoys almost knowing the range of my ability. However I stuck with it and managed to bag the odd one. The birds seemed to come in dribs and drabs as the rain got heavier it slowed right down so called it a day at half ten. Ended up with 27 crows and six pigeons. I was trying some trust cartridges that I picked up the other day must say I was quite pleased with them, don't know if anyone else is using them.
