Footu
Just had a debate with a friend. My dog hates its nails clipped but I was taught this should be done as it lessens the chance of a toe fracture, especially dew claw( admittedly this was for greyhounds racing). My mate says not to bother with lab unless they don't do much activity. So who does what? Thanks for any input.
al4x
everything depends on what the nails actually look like, you can tell when they are getting too long and trim accordingly. Mine occasionally has her fronts done, rears very rarely and dew claws regularly. The dew claws are the ones that will go and catch and do damage in particular if they get too long, real shame mine didn't have them removed at the same time as her tail was docked
