ben0850
Morning All Since selling my Chelsea tractor I have now for sale a second set of standard X5 alloy wheels (4no) with Vredestein wintrac extreme winter tyres. I will check tread depths later on when I get home but they have only been on the motor for approx 4 months in total. Sizes; 255 50/R19 front 285 45/R19 rear. Collection from north yorks or your own courier if you sort. £300 Ono PayPal plus fees or bank transfer. Thought I'd stick them on here before putting them on piston heads and fleabay! SirDread
I too purchased some for my X5 and I can tell you they are very very good and rated as one of the best choices in europe where they get proper wintry conditions. Dave-G
Old thread? Anyone switching to winter tyres are one short step away from becoming astounded at the difference they make on snow and ice, you can virtually drive as you usually would in warmer climates. Now that the temps are rising is soon to be the time to remove them as the softer compound wears out a lot quicker than the harder compounds used for regular tyres. ben0850
Not an old thread? I only typed it this morning lol. To Zulu the tyres got me down and up a series of 1:4 hills and hairpins to our farm in the snow, no complaints on their performance at all.
