Spoilt for choice this weekend!! Chalk Farm on Sat AND Sun and then Fair Clay Targets on Monday......only problem is that hard earned cash can only be spent once so have to work out which is best place to go. Chalk Farm is a newish venue and is a good site that is gaining experience and building up and expanding it's facilities all the time but is limited on stands and I hate queueing........FCT has a bigger range of targets due to having the increased number of stands and at £22 is better value for money for 100 birds........both places putting on that 'little bit extra' as it's Easter too so the usual pot hunters will probably go to both venues, but hey, they pay their money so deserve to win if they're better than everyone else but it's a bit disheartening for the recreational shooters who like to win something too just once in a while

Hmmmm, .......might be the pub food included in the entry fee at FCT that 'swings it'.....as one famous supermarket says' Every Little Helps!'

So those who go on Sat will have an advantage on Sun over those that don't........??

Everyone shooting on competition days can enter more than once. Those practicing on Saturday should have no advantage over anyone going around

twice on Sunday as they also will then know the layout. The reason behind offering the Saturday practice was hoping to spread the numbers

over 2 days to reduce queing. We have been very busy on the other competition days and we thought this might benefit the shooters.

Those we have mentioned a practice day to have reacted positively. The thing that bring the most complaints is long waits at the

stations so we hope this will help address this :)

Will definatly be at Hitclays on Monday at Watery Lane Beeston. The Xmass shoot was great laugh with large turn out of safe Guys & Girls at the shoot.
The large amount of stands they put out saves a massive amount of waiting around on each trap when busy. (Keep it up guys)
I even got a lucky turkey last time, after an Easter egg at this one. :good:
