The Essex Hunter
I have been asked to look over a small holding twice as they lost a number of chickens and second time lucky (or unlucky for the fox) Just short of 200 yards which is all ways nice to see them drop out at that range. The second was from a field I shot 4 from 2 weeks ago, I saw 2 fox’s crisscrossing their way over the field so I set up and called, one came in and stopped then his mate came passed and so on until one sat and let his mate keep trotting in to the call….whack from my 700 one down and one legging it. I guess it will make the back fox lamp shy but I will see… TEH

The Essex Hunter
I would say there are foxes every where, I rotate the land which seems to give better results. Also shooting on foot is the only option with the land so wet. A fox will go anywhere for a feed but I see more on land with crops showing against a ploughed field!!
