hedge
How easy are they to get to? Changing them is quite straight forward as long as you have easy access. Something you can do on colder days when it gets a bit sluggish is pre-heat the glow plugs for longer. When you turn on the ignition the glow plug light on the dash goes out fairly quickly but if you wait the glow plugs should continue to pre-heat. I was told that they can pre-heat for about another 8-10 seconds after the light goes out. Count to 5 (or more) after the light goes out and give it a go. Works a treat on my Leon TDi. russdy
I tried it this morning mate and it still took a while to start. I seen a video of a bloke using a multi meter to test which plug wasnt working properly so think ill gove that a try aswell.

Try the test and maybe replace a couple and see if that helps. Good luck with it.
