Tony G
Not shot on the Wash for 22 years since I was a junior member of Spalding and district.Shot with my dad and his mates and have some good memories.Shot my first pink out in front of the second horseshoe.I'm thinking of joining again and wondered how it shoots these days and if any current members take newbies out ? Big Mat
Have a look here: http://www.hdwa.org.uk/ There are several members of holbeach on here. For the first 6 flights ( or whole season depending on what the person taking you out thinks of your progress ), you have to have someone with you. Holbeach shoot the same marsh as Spalding but i believe the only difference is the compulsory 6 accompanied flights.

I shoot the wash and try to take two new members per year as a member of spalding and district It would be great if you rejoined and this year it shot very well one newbie did very well shooting 25 duck under my supervision and went on to shoot 55 duck for his first season on shep whites Edited March 23, 2013 by UK fowler
shakin stevens
I enjoy this part of the wash very much mainly targeting ducks a goose would be a bonus even though a good few are shot still, like most wildfowling you have to go out to the wildfowl to get good results which i have in the past few seasons, Mr uk fowler will put you right smashing chap to shoot with and sure does know the marsh.
