pixie Posted March 26, 2013 Report Share Posted March 26, 2013 Went out yesterday morning, stood under the trees and got the crows either in flight or when they landed in the branches.One got shot stuck in the tree branches, boy does that bring the others in to see.. Whist I stood still saw some movement 10 feet away and a bunny came walking past. . Finished after 3 hours as body was warm but feet frozen. 3 crows unable to pick up. Went out in the evening, asked the farmer have you seen any foxes, " not lately" got the HMR and walked down the fields, shone the lamp , hey presto, set of eyes. Set the rifle up on the fence , load a round, not without a bolt . Drive home , retrieve the bolt (not doing that again, happened before). Set up again, do a few calls, set of eyes, wont get any nearer, so after a while pack up , go home get warm! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
