buckaroo23
Right I'm a muppet, forgot about my MOT, and my tax has ran out on my car. I'm hopping to get an MOT this week, so do I need to sorn as it has ran out of tax, or can I leave it on my drive till the MOT then tax it ASAP. Many thanks
Dr_evil
think you get a grace period of two weeks now or something like that ? EIther way if you want to be safe sorn it online then tax it at the post office after MOT no admin charges so its cool
mrwabbits
Best doing a SORN online 1st . Then sort it all out afterwards at the post office when you have all the correct necessary documents. That will cover nether regions in case of delays imho . Also best to Phone MOT garage prior and book it in giving reg number. That covers to and from places of immediate journey
