claycrasher
Hi there, I'm now into the fourth week of waiting for my inspection from my local FEO in order to obtain my SGC, is this unusual or can it take a lot longer?

FalconFN
It depends on where you are I think. Here it took 2 weeks for the inspection but it's around 12 weeks for the licence to come through.
bikemad24
i put my first fac application in around 12/2/2013. fao came around second week in march, fao phoned yesterday to say it will be with me in 28 days. iv bought (obviously its still at the rfd) a 17 hmr and a half decent scope and got some really good perms. THE WAITING IS KILLING ME. i know that sounds a bit nuts but it really is.

Isn't it illegal for a RFD to take payment for a firearm from a non FAC holder regardless of "cert in the post etc" and him storing it for you.
