NickS
Some time ago, my son had an enjoyable time at Bisley. It certainly helped his enthusiasm. My biggest issue is the cost as I think many parents would baulk at the idea of paying £85 for a HALF day (0930 - 1300), even though it is advertised as a "day". This was for 20 clays plus some air rifle shooting. Surely there has to be something more affordable if the sport is to encourage youngsters from non-shooting families? http://www.bisleyshooting.co.uk/YoungShotsDay.html Cue Bakerboy.... Field and Clay
There is good value out at the grounds. The CPSA have again had a series of Young Shots days over the Easter Holiday at about £40 each https://www.cpsa.co.uk/news/general/2013/04/15/young-shots-days and https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.529159080461357.1073741826.194963983880870&type=1 I believe the BASC have similar schemes Edited April 15, 2013 by Field and Clay
