Matty7247
Is the Lytham & Preston District club waiting list open? If so, how do you apply to become a member.
LancsGunsmith
I think both work on the premisis that you need to know someone that is a member to get on the list. Lytham you must live within a 5 miles of the marsh. MBWF list is around 7 years iv heard. West morlands are the most open to look at as there on the Web, but you must have a full member to sponser you and once again to teach you the tidal patterns. The long and short of wildfowling is in the north west it's a long waiting list and if you dont know someone that is a member, you will find it very hard to get in as this is the person that will tell you how to contact the members secetery and sign your application as mentor. Take you out on your day tickets and teach you the way of the marsh and bird identification etc etc. Its not easy, there more secretive than the masons! best of luck.
