bostonmick
being a life long beretta shooter I went to the dealers to look at a 692 with a view to buying one,the gun felt ok and mounted quite well but I just was not quite sure. the wood was not as nice as I would expect,it was very stiff on opening and yes I know it is new but I have bought most of my guns new and have never known one as hard to open or close.all round I was a little disappointed especilaly after all the hype.in the end I bought a second hand dt10 sporter for the same money.and when you hold the two together you can feel where the quality is.no doubt they will be reliable as with all the beretta range but for me it is one that will not be finding a place in my cabinet. also I don't think the hp chokes pattern as well as optima.
