Long time for little reward.

Went to clear a few more rabbits out today.Rained for most of the morning into the afternoon so when it stopped at 1400 i was straight out to the farm.

It was very dull and it was quite windy so put on the waterproofs and went and got settled down.

Saw a few rabbits but nothing near where i was set up.

I stuck it out till 1900 between a few light showers and decided to move as i had not got anything and had been there for four hours.

It was cold as well and my hands were freezing as i had not taken any gloves.

But i was determined not to go home without getting at least one rabbit.

I got set up looking down into the bottom of a small dale and only had to wait fifteen minutes and the first rabbit appeared.

Then got two small rabbits within ten minutes of each other.

It then came a lot brighter but i then called it a day and decided to go and get warmed up at home.

Well done for sticking it out mate if it makes you feel any better I sat out for two hours this morning to shoot 5 crows,so it seems slow all around then when I got home the cherry on the cake was a big brown rat caught in a live catch trap that's been eating nuts from the bird feeders introduced him to the air pistol and he fell asleep BB
