Doncaster Permissions available help

Spent four soaking wet hours just Past Darlington with some old work mates today shooting rabbit.

We got six between us but it was hard work, the ground was very wet and like quick sand....still enjoyed the crack and that what matters.

I was asked about land being avilable to shoot in the Doncaster area, as it was no good to me I said I would try & find out what I can.

These blokes have been shooting for many years, and travel down as far as the Fens to shoot....mad keen.

Any information would be welcome.....WDYK?

It's hit and miss mate just a case of dropping on at the right time.

Don't know of any going at the moment am tring for some more for myself as the ribbit population on my land is dismal. :(

Maybe if they had some good pigeon spots people may be willing to trade days out worth a try if anything ?

All the best

Karl.

Thanks for that, is he from Doncaster area.

I am not sure it is his land, my mate said that it was a company looking for shooters to manage virmin on about 30 farms.

Sounded like a growers confederation group based in that area....these blokes would be willing to pay if needs must?

Ladyboys aren't what they used to be.....you do know that don't you Fenboy?

I have a mate who pimps ladyboys he said.....It's Thai ring work.

Those aside, my mate Emailed said it was The Maize Growers Association, I am sure we have them in the Fens but not sure.

Does anyone know if they cover that area, it may be who Swiss Tony worked for but not sure....will send him PM

We have some nr the airport but the owner lives in Spain, he hasn't got a problem who shoots it but we have written perm and open tickets so it ain't a problem but I wouldn't like telling someone to shoot it without it in writing as if anything went wrong they wouldn't have a leg to stand on :)

No i don't think he worked for them , he did security at £180 a shift you know

You must be gutted you don't get that for looking after the country's most dangerous criminals and he gets it for guarding scrap metal .

I've got a joke about metal.....Actually, no. Scrap that.

Just heard that Tony has packed in, shame we need more people like him on here.

I am sure he will be back soon, I felt like never going out ever again at about 7pm tonight after getting a good soaking.

By the sound of things he is coining it in, good money that...make hay while the sun shines...could do with a few of those shifts myself to buy my new Beretta

I think we are all thinking of packing in at the moment with the poor shooting we are having .

Even Fenny as keen as he is said sod this ," I am packing up early so I can go to bingo tonight" when we were shooting the other day , normally he would want to be in the field if we shot a few or not :|

It's a worry, the gambling has got him....I heard he lost £3.00 last week I would be gutted.

It was peeing down when I was out shooting with Fenny one day.
"Jesus, it's really coming down" Fenny said
"Tell me about it" I said.
2 hours later he was still explaining the water cycle of the Fens, I felt like putting a gun to my head

Let me get this straight... Swisstony has binned the forum, no more bespoke 4X4's and superb knowledge v sad day.

He inspired me to convert my Fiat seicento into a mobile bedsit, had a lot of security work so came in really useful.... Hope the social don't get wind of this £180 & double shifts, I think this may effect my job seekers allowance.
