dob
Just been trawling through you tube and I have watched a video showing how to use an oil filter as a moderator on .22 rifles , GOBSMACKED , you buy an adapter that screws into the base of a new oil filter ,then that adapter fits onto the thread of your barrel . Obviously at this stage you have no exit hole on filter for bullet head to pass through so all you do it let your first round off and hey presto exit hole is made , then your off, I have to say they are very effective ,ugly and god knows what your friendly firearms officer would say but hayho every days a school day ,what will they think of next . Yes it's an American clip on YouTube , had to be really didn't it.
