mike-b
right thought id put some pics of a afternoon roost shoting last year on the farm me and my buddy shoot, we are very lucky to be able to shoot one wood in particular all year round so consequently we tend to roost shoot more than decoy! bags are never huge between 30-60 between us per afternoon but the shooting is first class the wood consist of mainly 105ft poplar trees so most incoming and passing pigeons are very high and make for for some of the best sport ive ever had! anyway heres some pics and il try upload the short vid to if it will firstly here is the lay out of the wood! us on arrival and the trusty hound meg And on entering the wood a quick look out across the water meadow and a wood full of pigeons and a zoomed in shot of what was waiting further down the wood so all looked good for the rest of the afternoon!!! and the dog poised ready to go! and the bulky pain in the *** cheap nasty cam that i got the footage with being a tree surgeon i should know better than to stand under a dead poplar but it attracts them from fields away! the 1100 and the dog ! what a combo!!!! my second set of eyes she never misses one when they come over my buddy lee off to his position ready for the onslaught!!! like a formation of blue bombers coming over my possition!!! was to busy shooting to get any more pics but heres the video i took its poor quality but you get a little idea!!! hope this has all worked il try get better footage this year!!! and the final pic of the aftermath of that afternoon!! me on the left lee on the right! caeser
Great pictures. It all adds interest to the write up when you can actually see where you've been shooting.
