aister
I got some piltocks a week ago so I thought I would show my 3 boys about salting them. Been in the salt for a week now and thats them on the clothes line drying, looking forward to the first feed as I didn't salt any last year. ratbuster
Are they just salted and dried, and that's it ? Are they a sort of cod ? (sorry for asking '' stupid '' questions, but I live a bit far from the sea...... and even further from the Shetlands )

Eaten fresh it's not as good as cod or haddock, I suppose its a poor mans cod.
