Hi all I'm asking a question for one of the lads on here ( who says he's working hard at work lol !!) basically he's picked up a brand new puma and after putting a number if rounds through it he is happy as its all zeroed no prob !! The problem is he's not happy with the trigger pressure needed to fire it ?? So he's used my cz style which iv fitted a yodave/rimfiremagic spring and shim kit too and he wants the trigger pull more like mine ? People say these pumas are a copy of the cz so will a kit fit one ?

Has anyone else tryed it as he doesn't want to buy a kit if they won't fit ?

Cheers

You should have some spares then, drop the stock of the Puma and take a look! :good:

Take the action out of the Puma and have a look at the trigger. If they are just a copy then it stands to reason the trigger kit will fit. They should be loads of pictures of the CZ trigger on google to compare it to.

Or if you have some springs/shims left from your kit, try it in the Puma. I used one of the remaining springs on a friends CZ after doing mine.

I gave the ones I never used away to a member on here ?

I thought of that plus we live a hour or so away from each other so it's not as quick as that ?

Cheers anyway

I would guess it's still less than a 2 minute job to drop the stock and take a look at the trigger mechanism, I would have thought it would be easy to compare with the CZ, plenty of pics all over the web of CZ triggers! :good:

Just a word of warning over Yodave trigger kits. Just had a CZ452 trigger kit from them, the shims are fine to use but the springs are 24 thou oversize in diameter. This means that the end of the spring appears to fit into the machined hole like the original CZ spring does but after firing the spring comes out of the hole and renders the rifle useless. The trigger is now fine with no creep and is easier to fire.
