fac shotgun advice

i have just put in for mine and would appreciate peoples thoughts,my budget is ideally sub 800(second hand fine) and i was thinking fabarm or hatsan.i have been looking also at benelli these are more pricey but could be worth the extra (are these inertia feb so don't need cleaning as much?)i'm prepared to move higher on my budget if they are worth it.

i also like tactical shotguns with the sights used in practical shotgun and think they might just improve my hit rate.the reason is i'm a target shooter and i just feel lining up the rear and front sight as i swing through would just work for me (not most peoples cup of tea)

any help or advice would be appreciated or if any one is getting shut of a tactical fac shotgun shout up.

i'm aware hatsan have made a couple of turkeys but they have a three year warranty.

thanks mike

cheers for that,i had a look and they are ok .this is were brand name plays a part.every time i buy winchester hmr ammo its the least accurate of all in anschutz or cz.this means i have a low opinion of winchester to date.

if i see a tactical one for sale i'll check it out though.

cheers mike

If you really want to kick nine shades out of a auto benelli's are worth the extra, if unlike me you clean your guns and leave them at home when it rains feel free to go down the hatsan route!

My M1 super 90 has been used/abused daily for atleast 12 years and will have done about 40,000 rounds, as for cycling problems? None bar a new mag follower and spring.

Have a look at Mossberg!! Though I am a fan, the reason I like them is that they are good value, and can be tacticooled as much as you can be bothered. My S1 930 is a fantastic tool, was less than £600 new, though they have gone up a little, Viz:-

An old, but good, and entertaining review of the 930 SPX...

Many people rate the benelli for PSG use, as it has "normal", I.E. non vented barrels, and is therefore in "standard" class (?) - the 930 has vented barrels - but this is only relevant if you want it for PSG. I have had no cycling issues with my 930, nor any other issues either, and the same gun in the states comes with a ten year warranty!

I chose gas operated for the recoil reduction, and have found it worth having - I would recommend you make this choice first, preferably having shot a few S2 versions first..
